Jaipur Trails EP 08: The Deadly Hill of Snakes – Ashaawari Grassland | Trekking-Hiking Film

I have visited this trek many times in the past and love it for it’s clear flat terrain with long grass which becomes beautiful in the autumns season.

The hill is situated in the Jhalana range, Jaipur and has very unique flat terrain with long grass along with many snakes. Most of the snakes are also in yellow color which blends easily with the grass and the soil so its hard to spot them.

This time I went with a group of fellows after the end of monsoon season so the foliage was still having mostly green color but the grass started turning yellow.

We spotted two medium size snakes this time. Rest watch in the trek film.
